In our restaurant you can taste traditional Tuscan cuisine with rustic dishes made with fresh ingredients and wines made exclusively from the Montigliari farm.the restaurant has two indoor rooms with a characteristic fireplace that is used during the winter. During the summer a big, shaded garden is available to the guests. We would like to recommend the following dishes: typical appetizers, tartufa (made with truffle), pappardelle al cinghiale (special kind of homemade pasta with a wild boar sauce), ravioli with nut sauce, stuffed pigeon, guinea fowl with vinsanto Montigliari sauce, peposo della fornacina dell'Impruneta ( meat with a special tomato sauce), spicey tomatoes, onions with special spices, and you can end with gorgonzola (a spicey cheese) served with fig marmelade and vinsanto wine, almond flat cake, or apple cake. |
