When you come to visit us at Fattoria Montagliari, stay for lunch or dinner and treat yourself to the genuine flavors and fresh fragrances of real Tuscan home cooking.

In winter, meals are served in our two dining rooms, each with its friendly fireplace. In summertime you can dine on our lovely shaded terrace overlooking the breathtaking Greve Valley.

Our kitchen is overseen by Bruna Montagliari, whose love and respect for Chianti’s traditions are reflected in every dish she serves. Here you can sample home-made pastas such as talgiolini with truffles, pappardelle with wild boar or other game sauces or ravioli in walnut sauce.

Entice your palate with tuscan meat dishes like stuffed pigeon, guiney hen cooked in Vinsanto Montagliari or peposo alla fornacina dell’Impruneta (a hearty, peppery stew).

Vegetables and cheeses abound on Bruna’s table – spicy broiled tomatoes, stewed onions, roast potatoes “in ghiotta” (with fresh herbs and garlic), gorgonzola with fig and vinsanto marmelade. Tasty deserts include Fattoria Montagliari’s own special warm apple tart, little almond foccaccie and of course, cantucci with Vinsanto Montagliari.
